This dish could be served at a 5-star restaurant, IMHO. I happen to love salmon, and it’s a great choice to be able to stand up to a nice bold bourbon glaze. And you’ll be amazed at how easy this is!

Generously spray the casserole dish with cooking spray. (This is important because it makes clean-up a lot easier.) Lay the salmon fillet on the bottom of the dish, skin side down. You can also use individual portions of salmon, just lay them side by side (and have one per person). You can also use steelhead trout – it acts, looks, smells, and tastes like salmon (and its actually what I used for this because it was $1 cheaper per pound).

Sprinkle the fillet(s) evenly with a good steak seasoning.

Now pour the bourbon glaze on top of the salmon. I have made my own in the past, but for this I used my favorite bottled variety.

Bake 30-35 minutes, depending on the thickness the fillet. When it flakes easily with a fork & is cooked through, it’s done. It’s absolutely mouthwatering & too die for!
